Councillor Maryanne Duggan
Maryanne’s background
Maryanne is a long-term resident of Homebush and attended Strathfield Girls High School. She has been a Councillor since 2017 and is a member of council’s Audit Committee, Auburn Police Committee and Accessible Committee, and is the current Chair of the Cooks River Alliance. She is the secretary of the Strathfield Labor branch and a senior electorate officer for Jodi McKay MP.
Maryanne has more than 30 years experience as a public administrator in the Federal and NSW public services. She has been a senior leader and worked in public policy development, human resource management, equity and diversity practice and has also worked as an academic for the University of Sydney’s School of Business.
She has a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the University of Sydney
