Join Councillors Karen Pensabene, Maryanne Duggan and Member for Strathfield Jodi McKay for an online forum to discuss the latest development on the proposal for 7 - 23 Water Street, South Strathfield.

The proposal to build 70 industrial units on this site has raised considerable community concern and 60 submissions were sent into Strathfield Council opposing the development.

However, Council has released its draft Local Environmental Plan which seeks to allow 28 metre high apartments across all of the industrial land near the Cooks River in the industrial land bordered by Dean Street and Water Street.

We look forward to discussing how we can campaign to stop this massive overdevelopment of Strathfield South.
